Another option is to visit one of the many UK high street stores in person, however, this can be an emotional time and you may want to inform businesses about the passing of a loved one from the comfort of your own home.

What information will you need to provide to O2 Mobile about the bereavement?

When you contact O2 about the passing of someone you will need to provide the following information:

  • Mobile number
  • Email address linked to the account
  • Confirm whether they had a Pay Monthly contract or a Pay As You Go Account

What are the next steps?

After you have informed the O2 Mobile of the death, they will then be in contact regarding the next steps of the process. In some cases, they may request evidence of the death such as a copy of the death certificate.
